USA: ROBISON CONSTRUCTION AWARDED CONTRACT FOR WATERLINE REPLACEMENT AT NAVAL CENTER.

(DoD) Robison Construction, Inc., Honolulu is being awarded an $11,562,308 firm-fixed-price contract for Ford Island waterline replacement at the Navy Public Works Center, Pearl Harbor. The work to be performed provides for installation of approximately 4,666 meters of 600 millimeter polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe and approximately 1,543 meters of 750 millimeter (outer diameter) high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe to replace the existing 400 millimeter potable water loop system on Ford Island.

The contract will also provide a third submarine connection from Ford Island to the Pearl Harbor Naval Complex water system. Work will be performed in Oahu, Hawaii, and is to be completed by April 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year....
