USA: RAYTHEON SYSTEMS AWARDED CONTRACT TO MANUFACTURE ELECTRONICS UNITS.

(DoD) Raytheon Systems Co., McKinney, Texas, is being awarded a $12,819,958 firm-fixed-price order to manufacture 53 electronics units for the AN/AAS-44 FLIR (Forward Looking Infrared Radar) used on H-60 aircraft. Work will be performed in McKinney, Texas, and is to be completed by June 2005.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00383-98-G-006J, Order 0034).
