UAE: DATA ON DUBAI CITIBANK COMPUTERIZED OPERATIONS IN 2002-2003.(Brief Article)

A-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper quoted the Assistant Manager for electronic banking services of the Dubai Citibank, Ali Abbas Iskandar, who estimated in late September 2002 that the extent of computerized operations of the bank reached $350 million in 2002, and that they will reach $1 billion by the end of 2003.
About 75,000 to 80,000 computerized banking operations are carried out every month in the bank by private clients and companies. The rate of computerized operations carried out by private clients comes to 20%, and 37% by companies.
