SAUDI ARABIA: SAUDI TELECOM COMPANY SALES PROMOTION OF CELLPHONE NUMBERS.(Brief Article)

A-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper quoted an authorized source in the Saudi Telecom Company who told the paper in late October 2002 that SR 1.4 million ($373,000) worth of reduced price cellular telephone numbers has been sold during the first week of the sales promotion campaign. The special sale price for these lines ranges from SR 950 to SR 40,500 ($13,000) and applies to the Riyadh area.
