ISRAEL: SOLDIER, TWO CIVILIANS WOUNDED BY ANTI-TANK MISSILE IN GAZA STRIP.(report on violence)(Brief Article)

An IDF Engineering Corps soldier was moderately wounded and two civilians were lightly wounded today (31 Dec. 2002) when an anti-tank missile that was launched toward civilian targets on the Israel-Egypt border near Rafah, struck nearby them. The three were transferred for further medical treatment to Be'er Sheba.
Shots were fired at an IDF force near Rafah on the Israel-Egypt border. The IDF force returned fire toward the source of fire. No injuries were sustained and no damage was caused. Shots were fired toward a civilian bus travelling on the tunnel road, south of Jerusalem. There were no casualties, however, the bus sustained some damage.
