UAE: ABU DHABI CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY PLANS TO SET UP INTERNATIONAL AIRLINE COMPANY.(Brief Article)

Al-Watan newspaper quoted the Director of the Abu Dhabi Civil Aviation Authority, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak al-Nahayan, who told the paper in mid-December 2002 that the Authority plans to set up an international flying company and is waiting for an appropriate time to publish a notice on the matter.
Sheikh Hamdan is also President of the Gulf Air airline company which is in financial difficulties with estimated debts of $800 million.
