EGYPT: FRENCH FINANCIAL AID TO DEVELOP TRAINING CENTER FOR CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY.(Brief Article)

Al-Ahram newspaper quoted Civil Aviation Minister Lt. Col. Ahmad Shafiq who told the paper in mid-December 2002 that the French and Egyptian governments signed an agreement to develop a training center for the Civil Aviation Authority in Egypt at an investment of C 22.5 million. The French government will fund a project by means of a C 15.5 million loan while local banks will grant credit of C 7 million.
Repayment of the loan to the French government will be long-term.
