USA: GENERAL DYNAMICS AWARDED CONTRACT FOR SUPPORT SERVICES.(Brief Article)

According to the DoD., General Dynamics Electronic Systems, Suffolk, Va., is being awarded a contract modification to exercise option five in the amount of $25,965,841 for services in support of the U.S. Joint Forces Command's Joint Experimentation Directorate. Services are required in support of the formulation and analysis of joint operational concepts.

Work will be performed in Suffolk, Va., and is expected to be completed by May 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured through full and open competition, with two offers received. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Detachment, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00140-01-C-H001).
