According to "VoV", a leading Republic of Korea company, Information Technology Company of Hyundai, has opened a representative office in Vietnam. The company, a subsidiary of the Hyundai group, is famous worldwide for IT application in financial, banking and public management areas. It is developing payment systems and other banking facilities for the State Bank of Vietnam, the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development and the Vietnam Import-Export Bank, under the framework of a World Bank-funded project to help Vietnam modernize its banking sector.
