VIETNAM: INDONESIAN TOURISTS COULD RECEIVE VISA EXEMPTION - VAT.(Brief Article)

According to ?VoV?, Indonesian tourists will probably be exempted from visas when entering Vietnam in the near future, according to the Vietnam Administration of Tourism (VAT). VAT deputy head Nguyen Phu Duc said the Government and VAT had met to discuss the issue. The incentive for Indonesians will take effect late this year if everything goes well, Duc said.

VAT also proposed visa exemption for tourists from Japan, other ASEAN nations, China and France. Currently, visitors from Thailand, the Philippines and Malaysia are allowed to enter Vietnam without visas.
