OMAN: ARAB COUNTRIES SEEK CONTINUES WIPO SUPPORT.(World Intellectual Property Organization)(Brief Article)

According to oOman Observero, Heads of intellectual property and copy rights bureau in the Arab countries concluded their second coordinating meeting. The two-day meeting was organized by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Arab League.
The officials recommended to ask the WIPO to continue its technical and legal support for the Arab countries with regard to intellectual property, especially those countries on their way to joining the World Trade Organization. They also supported the initiative of the WIPO Bureau for Arab Countries to issue a guide on judicial verdicts related to industrial property in the Arab world.
