OMAN: OMANTEL SIGNS MOU WITH MICROSOFT.(Memorandum of Understanding )(Brief Article)

According to Al-Watan newspaper (October 8, 2003), the Executive President of the Oman Telecom Company (OMANTEL), Mr. Mohammed Ali Al-Wohaibi, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft Europe, Middle East and Africa, Mr. Jean-Philippe Courtois. The MOU aims to inaugurate the Mobile Information Service in Oman known as (MIS).
Firstly, 500,000 Omanis are expected to join the new MIS.
