KUWAIT: KUWAIT AIRPORT RECORDS 14% RISE IN CARGO SHIPMENT.(Brief Article)

According to Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper (November 10, 2003), the Kuwaiti Civil Aviation Authority reported that 13,723,727 tons of cargo was shipped (imported and exported) via the Kuwait International Airport through last October. This volume of cargo represents a 14% rise compared with October 2002.
The same source added that the Kuwaiti Airlines Company controlled 46% of the total cargo shipped through the airport last October.
