UAE: AL-HABTOUR GROUP TO BUILD LUXURY HOTEL.(Brief Article)

According to Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper (March 18, 2004), the Emirates Al-Nakheel Company (Palm) announced that the Al Habtoor Group had signed an agreement for the purchase of a hotel plot on the Crescent of The Palm, Jumeirah - the first of Dubai's two unique and iconic palm-tree shaped island developments taking shape just off the coast of Dubai.
The Al-Habtour will build a 5-star deluxe, 250 all suite hotel, based on this contract. The Al Habtoor Group currently owns and operates seven hotels and a catering company under the management of Metropolitan Hotels International. Similarly, Metropolitan Hotels will also manage the group's property on The Palm.
