QATAR: DOLPHIN NATURAL GAS PROJECT TO TRANSFER GAS FROM QATAR TO THE UAE.(Brief Article)

Al-Watan newspaper quoted Assistant Manager for Operations of the Dolphin Energy Company, Ahmad a-Sa'ye, who said in January 2004 that the project to transfer natural gas from the natural gas fields in northern Qatar to the UAE will be carried out via a pipeline going under the Persian Gulf, and that its operation will be implemented during 2006.
This agreement to transfer natural gas to the UAE will be in effect for a period of twenty-five years.
