QATAR: SIGNING OF AGREEMENT TO CARRY OUT INFRASTRUCTURE WORK ON DOLPHIN PROJECT.(Brief Article)

Al-Watan newspaper reported on the January 2004 signing at the Doha Sheraton Hotel of an agreement to carry out infrastructure work on the Dolphin project by Qatar Energy Minister Abdullah bin Hamad al-'Atiya and American Assistant Secretary of Commerce William Lass. Investments in this project will reach $3.5 billion.
This project includes transferring liquid natural gas by a 400 kilometer, 48 inch diameter, underwater pipeline from the natural gas field in northern Qatar to the UAE.
