USA: FORRESTER CONSTRUCTION AWRDED CONTRACT FOR DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF DINING FACILITY.(Brief Article)

According to the DoD., Forrester Construction Co., Rockville, Md., was awarded on March 31, 2004, a delivery order amount of $9,781,200 as part of a $13,205,996 firm-fixed-price contract for design and construction of a new dining facility. Work will be performed at Fort Meade, Md., and is expected to be completed by March 2, 2006.

Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were four bids solicited on Dec. 3, 2003, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore, Md., is the contracting activity (DACA31-03-D-0003).
