INDIA: AMD TO EST. BANGALORE DESIGN CENTER.(Brief Article)

According to "Business Line", US computer chip maker Advanced Micro Devices Inc., is planning to set up a design centre in Bangalore and hire 120 engineers by the end of 2005. Announcing the decision, Keith Hawkins, design director of AMD's computation products division ruled out apprehensions of job losses to US citizens.
The company already runs design and engineering centers in Sunnyvale (California), Austin (Texas) and Dresden (Germany).
