JORDAN: WANADOO ANNOUNCES 50% REDUCTION IN ADSL RATES.(Brief Article)

According to "Jordan Times", Wanadoo Jordan announced a package bearing a 50 per cent reduction on Internet connectivity via ADSL rates. A statement released by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) said the move is part of a plan to reduce end-user costs of Internet connectivity in line with international trends.
Wanadoo, previously Global One, was established in 1996 as the first ISP in the Kingdom. In 2001, Global One was acquired by Jordan Telecom. Wanadoo Jordan is considered the largest ISP in the Kingdom, due to its market share, which exceeds 40 per cent, the statement said.
