JORDAN: EC ADOPTS NEIGHBORHOOD PACKAGE STRATEGY PAPER.

According to "Jordan Times", Head of the European Commission Delegation to Jordan Robert van der Meulen said the Kingdom was noticeably ahead of others in the region in discussions with the EU over an action plan to implement its New Neighborhood Policy. The European Commission officially launched concrete steps to ensure that its May 1 enlargement to include 10 new members would not create new dividing lines between the union and its new neighbors.
It adopted a strategy paper proposing how the benefits of enlargement u such as peace, stability and prosperity u can be extended to the neighbors of the enlarged bloc.
