USA: POWERWARE CORP., AWARDED CONTRACT FOR EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE.

According to the DoD., Powerware Corp., Raleigh, N.C., is being awarded a $18,672,697 firm fixed price contract to provide for emergency and preventative maintenance for static and rotary uninterruptible power supply systems (UPS), flywheels and batteries. Maintenance shall occur at worldwide locations of UPS Systems by Powerware personnel Corporate Headquarters for Powerware.
No funds have been obligated. Solicitation began November 2003 and negotiations were completed May 2004. The Headquarters Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (FA8208-04-D-0001).
