According to the DoD., General Dynamics Land Systems, under their operating unit General Dynamics Amphibious Systems, Woodbridge, Va., is being awarded a $47,451,258 cost-reimbursable contract for the development of training systems for the Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle (EFV), formerly the Advanced Amphibious Assault Vehicle (AAAV).
The contractor shall design, develop, fabricate, test, install and integrate the EFV training systems to include the following elements: 1 driver simulator, 1 turret simulator; 1 EFV(P) communications and navigation part task trainer, 1 EFV(C) communications and navigation part task trainer, 1 electrical system maintenance part task trainer, 1 weapon system maintenance part task trainer simulation system to be integrated with GFE...
