USA: GENERAL DYNAMICS AWARDED CONTRACT FOR SUPPORT SERVICES FOR JOINT FORCES.(Brief Article)

According to the DoD., General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, Suffolk, Va., is being awarded $5,775,000 for Task Order 0001 under previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00140-04-D-0195) to provide services in support of the U.S. Joint Forces Command's Joint Experimentation Program and Joint Futures Lab.
Work will be performed at Suffolk, Va., and the expected date of completion is Oct. 31, 2004. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with an estimated 30 proposals solicited and one offer received. The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity.
