SINGAPORE: SINGTEL TO LAUNCH TRIAL OF 3G PHONE SERVICE.(Brief Article)

Singapore Telecom will start a month-long trial of its 3G high-speed mobile phone services this week. The trial involving 150 of its customers will allow SingTel to test its network and fine-tune services to suit customer preferences. The trial focusing on the central business district will offer voice, video and Internet access services to selected SingTel customers who are heavy users of existing data services.
