INDIA: BSNL DISCONNECTS RELIANCE LINKS DUE TO UNPAID DUES.(Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited)(Brief Article)

According to "Economic Times", Armed with a Delhi High Court order in its favor, Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) started snapping Reliance's links from its networks in large parts of the country. It disconnected Reliance 's links in India's silicon valley, Bangalore, and Nasik. BSNL and MTNL jointly have a subscriber base of over 50m, while Reliance has an all India subscriber base of 9m.
In Bangalore, BSNL has a subscriber base of over 1m. Different field units of BSNL have slapped dues on Reliance totaling Rs 255 crore.
