USA: GENERAL ELECTRIC AIRCRAFT ENGINES AWARDED CONTRACT FOR PROCUREMENT OF TURBINE NOZZLE SEGMENTS.(Brief Article)

According to the DoD., General Electric Aircraft Engines, Lynn, Mass, is being awarded a $6,818,970 priced order under an existing basic ordering agreement contract for procurement of low pressure turbine nozzle segments used on the F-404-400 engine on the F/A-18 aircraft. Work will be performed at Lynn, Mass., and is expected to be completed by December 2005.
Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point is the contracting activity (N00383-00-G-0001) (Order1166).
