According to the DoD., The Robotics Foundry, Pittsburgh, Pa., is being awarded a $27,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract for Robotics research and development efforts in support of the Expeditionary Warfare Air Defense Systems Department work on the Mobil-Under-Vehicle Inspection System & non-line-of-sight programs. Work will be performed in Pittsburgh, Pa., and is expected to be completed by December 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Crane, Ind., is the contracting activity (N00164-05-D-6647).
