UAE: DATA ON EXTENT OF CIVILIAN AIR TRAFFIC IN 2004.(Brief Article)

Al-Bayan newspaper quoted General Manager of the UAE Civil Aviation Authority, Muhammad Ghanim al-Ghayit, who estimated in late December 2004 that Authority income in 2005 will reach DH 90 million, compared to DH 86 million in 2004, and that its profits will reach DH 14 million, compared to DH 20 million in 2004.

The extent of civilian air traffic in 2004 came to 54,000 flights, compared to 45,000 flights in 2003. He estimated that the extent will reach 55,000 in 2005. Airplanes belonging to seven hundred companies fly within the Emirates.
