TUNISIA: OFFICE EQUIPMENT, COMMUNICATIONS AND NEW MEDIA SALON OPENS.(Brief Article)

According to Al-Horria newspaper (March 17, 2005), the 7th Office Equipment, Communications and New Media International Salon will be held at the Sousa Fairs Center through March 18-21. More than 100 specialized companies take part in this exhibition this year compared with 33 associations last year.

The salon displays media, communication and office equipment and technologies based on the latest innovations. In addition, the scientific side of the event includes workshops and conferences about the digital gap, protecting media systems and Internet. The event represents a good opportunity for Tunisia to prepare before hosting the November 2005 World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS).
