ISRAEL: COOPERATION BETWEEN MDA AND BULGARIAN RED CROSS.(Magen David Adom)(Brief Article)

Within the framework of friendship and cooperation between MDA [Magen David Adom] and the Bulgarian Red Cross it was agreed that MDA would assist the Bulgarian Red Cross in developing its ambulance and emergency medical services. At the first stage the service will be provided to the population of Sofia, Bulgaria's capital.
Within this framework, MDA has contributed 5 fully equipped refurbished ambulances to the Bulgarian Red Cross. The ceremony of handing over the ambulances took place in a festive gathering at the headquarters of the Bulgarian Red Cross in Sofia with the participation of an MDA delegation, Israel's Ambassador to Bulgaria and representatives of the Friendship Society of Bulgaria in Israel.
