JORDAN: CAA DENIES ALLEGATIONS.(Civil Aviation Authority)(Brief Article)

According to "Jordan Times", the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) denied press reports alleging that non-Jordanian airlines are operating flights between Amman and Baghdad. CAA Director General Suleiman Obeidat said non-Jordanian airlines have to acquire a license in advance in order to fly on this and other routes from Jordanian territory.

He said Jordan is strictly applying the International Civil Aviation Organization's rules on the matter.
