JORDAN: VISA SUPPLIES ANTI-FRAUD KITS TO LOCAL POLICE.(Brief Article)

According to "Jordan Times", in an attempt to reduce credit card fraud, Visa International has supplied "super sleuth suitcases" to Jordan's police force to support their drive against card-related crime. The kits comprise a variety of hi-tech devices including a card-reading terminal, ultraviolet light scanner to check card watermarks and a comprehensive interactive training course for law enforcers.
Perkins also emphasized the role of cardholder education and evolution of new technologies such as chip cards and "Verified by Visa" e-security program forming a vital component in the drive against card fraud. Visa has also recently joined the Global anti-Phishing service, thereby helping participants such as Internet Service Providers or user-facing security...
