EGYPT: TOURISM MINISTER HOLDS TALKS ON EGYPTIAN-UAE TOURISM COOP.(Brief Article)

Tourism Minister Ahmed El Maghrabi held a series of meetings with senior UAE officials on enhancing cooperation in the tourism and economic sectors. Maghrabi, accompanied by the Egyptian ambassador to the UAE Fahmi Fayed, met with the Board Chairman of Abu Dhabi Authority for Tourism, the head of the Civil Aviation Authority, the director of Abu Dhabi Fund for Development and the chairman of the federation of the UAE's chambers of commerce and industry.
In statements to MENA, Maghrabi expected a remarkable increase in number of tourists coming to Egypt in 2005. He added that the volume of the UAE investments in the Egyptian tourism sector was estimated at LE 9 billion.
