TUNISIA: MOODY'S WITHDRAWS THE RATINGS OF BANQUE DU SUD.

Moody's Investors Service has withdrawn the ratings of Tunisian bank Banque du Sud (BdS) for business reasons. This action was taken with the consent of both parties and does not reflect a change in BdS's creditworthiness. For further details please refer to Moody's Withdrawal Policy on moodys.com.

The following ratings were withdrawn: Financial Strength Rating: E , Long-term foreign currency deposit rating: Baa2, Short-term foreign currency deposit rating: Prime-2. Banque du Sud is based in Tunis (Tunisia) and had total assets of TND1.952 billion (US$1.627 billion) as at 31 December 2004.
