CHINA: FAW LISTED ON FORTUNE 500 FOR THE FIRST TIME, RANKING NO.448.

According to fdi.gov.cn: US Fortune magazine recently produced a latest ranking of World Fortune 500. Top on the list remains the US retail giant Wal-Mart, followed by BP (British Petroleum) and Exxon Mobil, two petrochemical firms. First Auto Works of China makes its name onto the list (No.448) for the first time with its 13.825 billion USD worth of sales revenue.

SAIC and Cathay Life, two Chinese companies which made their names on the list last year are not as lucky this year. FAW and South China Power Grid and Petrol China are first-timers on the list.
