JORDAN: AMEX INTRODUCES GOLD CARD IN JORDAN.

According to "Jordan Times", the credit card culture in Jordan and in the Middle East in general, is still in its infancy, a top American Express executive said. American Express Middle East President and CEO Trevor Stokes said the company has a vision to help the industry prosper in the regional market with new products that meet the growing need of plastic cards services in the area.
Stokes was speaking on the sidelines of a ceremony held by American Express to launch its new Gold Credit Card, the first credit card in Jordan with ID keeper. The card is also the first American Express card dealing in Jordanian dinar.
