JORDAN: CABINET APPROVES LICENSES FOR TWO SATELLITE TV STATIONS, REJECTS COOPER EXPLORATION PROPOSAL.

According to "Jordan Times", the Cabinet approved the issuance of two licenses for satellite TV stations, one specialized in economy and the other in tourism and travel. During its weekly session, the Council of Ministers rejected a proposal for copper exploration in the Dana Natural Reserve, in order to protect the reserve and the surrounding areas.
