McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Co., Mesa, Ariz., was awarded on Sept. 23, 2005, a $5,900,000 firm-fixed-price contract for AH-64D Apache Longbow aircraft. Work will be performed in Mesa, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
This was a sole source contract initiated on June 2, 2005. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-05-C-0274).
