UAE: DUBAI AIRPORT WITNESSES 17% GROWTH IN CARGO SHIPMENT.

According to Al-Bayan newspaper (December 11, 2005), statistics issued by the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority show that the total volume of cargo shipped through the International Airport of Dubai rose to 626,000 tons in the first half of the current year compared with 535,000 tons in the same period last year. These figures translate into a 17% growth.
