EGYPT: EGYPT AND TURKEY SIGN FREE TRADE AGREEMENT.

Minister of Foreign Trade and Industry Rasheed Mohamed Rasheed said on Sunday that Egypt and Turkey will sign a free trade agreement later this month. The Minister, who is currently attending the WTO meetings in Hong Kong, said the agreement would be signed during Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer's visit to Egypt.
Addressing the Egyptian journalists attending the WTO in Hong Kong, Rasheed said that the signing of this agreement will give a push to Egyptian-Turkish trade relations and double the volume of trade exchange between them.
