IPR Strategic Business Information Database, May, 2006
According to fdi.gov.cn: According to the 2006 China Economic Outlook report published by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), China's GDP growth is projected at 9.5% this year. The Chinese government should pay attention to addressing three thorny issues, namely excessive production in certain industries, widening income gap between urban and rural areas and mounting environmental pressure.
ADB released information on the report during an inspection tour of its newly appointed Vice Governor Mr. Green Wood to a loan program in Jiangxi province.
