SAUDI ARABIA: PREPARATIONS TO PUBLISH PUBLIC TENDER FOR LICENSES TO SUPPLY TRANSPORTATION AND CARGO SERVICES.

A-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported on the preparations to publish two public tenders to supply local transportation services, and to supply air cargo and mail services. The paper quoted Civil Aviation Authority Director Eng. Abdullah Muhammad Nur Ruhaymi who provided details on these tenders in mid-May 2006 in Jeddah.
The paper estimated that initial investments in these two tenders will come to SR 1 billion ($266 million).
