UAE: DUBAI AIRPORT RECORDS 8.5% RISE IN CARGO SHIPMNET.

According to Al-Khaleej newspaper (May 31, 2006), statistics issued by the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority show that 113,950 tons of cargo was shipped the via Dubai International Airport in April 2006 compared with 105,036 tons in the same month last year. These figures translate into an 8.5% growth.
