USA: NORTHROP AWARDED CONTRACT FOR COMPUTER SECURITY EVALUATION.

Northrop Grumman Space and Mission Systems Corp., Space Technology, Redondo Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $18,410,465 cost-plus-award-fee contract modification. This contract modification will incorporate ECP-11 trusted computer security evaluation criteria requirements; Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 8500, and federal information processing standards (FIPS) 140-2 into the national polar-orbiting environmental satellite system acquisition and operations contract.
