BAE Systems, York, Pa., was awarded on Aug. 31, 2006, a $9,753,472 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for spare diesel engines for the M88A2 HERCULES vehicle system. Work will be performed in York, Pa., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
This was a sole source contract initiated on April 17, 2006. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-01-C-N030).
