EGYPT: MRS. MUBARAK RECEIVES ORANGE SEED AWARD.

Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak received Friday November 25 the Orange Seed Award in appreciation of the role she is playing in encouraging cooperation among Mediterranean peoples and her efforts to achieve peace and justice in the region. Mrs. Mubarak was granted the award at the inaugural ceremony of the session of the General Assembly of the Permanent Committee for the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership among Local and Regional Powers (COPPEM) in Palermo, Italy.
Salvatori Cuffari, the Governor of Sicily and the COPPEM chairman, said the award is an acknowledgement of Mrs. Mubarak efforts exertedto promoting social justice and boost inter-cultural exchanges.
