IRAN: OFFICIAL ELABORATES PRIVILEGES OF WIPO MEMBERSHIP.

According to "Tehran Times", membership with international registration organizations is effective to develop trade with other nations, deputy director of the office for economic development of Asian and the Pacific and delegate to the Geneva-based World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Moayedian said.

He told national seminar on membership with WIPO that registration with the organization is effective for marketing Iranian goods and attracting foreign investors to enter into partnership with Iranian entrepreneurs. He said that currently 79 countries have become members of WIPO from which 43 countries are European, 20 Asian and 13 African and three American nations.
