JORDAN: CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH AZERI COUNTERPART.

According to "Jordan Times", the Civil Aviation Authority signed a memorandum of understanding with its Azeri counterpart to liberalize air transportation between the two countries. Under the memo, certain Jordanian and Azeri aviation companies will be allowed to operate flights with no restrictions imposed on passengers, freight or aircraft type.

The agreement will link the two countries through direct flights in order to develop bilateral cooperation in the economic, commercial, investments and tourist fields, Awni Momani, air transportation director at the authority, said on Wednesday.
