MIDDLE EAST: ABU DHABI 45TH MOST EXPENSIVE CITY IN WORLD.

According to Al-Khaleej newspaper (June 20, 2007), A global survey released by the Mercer Human Resource Consulting ranked Abu Dhabi as the world's 45th most expensive city for living in 2007 compared with the 30th position in 2006. The survey gave Abu Dhabi a score of 85.9 points in 2007 and 87.8 points in 2006.

The analysis is based on an evaluation of 39 quality-of-living criteria for each city including political, social, economic and environmental factors, personal safety and health, education, transport and other public services.
