MIDDLE EAST: DUBAI 34TH MOST EXPENSIVE CITY IN WORLD.

According to Al-Khaleej newspaper (June 20, 2007), A global survey released by the Mercer Human Resource Consulting ranked Dubai as the world's 34th most expensive city for living in 2007 compared with the 25th position in 2006. The survey gave Dubai a score of 88.8 points in 2007 and 87.8 points in 2006.
The analysis is based on an evaluation of 39 quality-of-living criteria for each city including political, social, economic and environmental factors, personal safety and health, education, transport and other public services.
